Yu Darvish now has a 9.00 ERA in three starts against the Seattle Mariners.
He has a 3.09 ERA vs. the rest of the major leagues.
Go figure – that’s baseball.
Man, I wish I’d made a different decision re: attending the game tonight ;-(
But, so glad to see a game like this (even if it was only on TV) … they needed it.
- They needed their ACE to be their ACE against one of the top teams in the league.
- They needed to give him the support he so richly deserves.
- They needed to show how their home can be a house of horrors … for visitors.
- They needed to prove that their home can give them comfort and confidence credibility.
And so, all of the above (and more) was accomplished tonight.
