Aaron pitched much better than his last start (guess that’s not saying much as he only lasted TWO innings and gave up SEVEN runs in process) all things considered vs. a good team in their own ballpark . . . a l m o s t a quality start . . .
FIVE innings ~ SEVEN hits ~ THREE runs ~ TWO walks ~ FIVE strikeouts
} Charlie and Yoervis combined for THREE scoreless-hitless innings (though Yoervis walked the bases loaded with TWO outs and then got out of it via a K)
} I guess The Lord would blow a save eventually . . .
hopefully Danny will learn from the experience and not let it shake his confident, cocky demeanor (but, really sucks to lose that way)
AT THE PLATE
Only SIX hits but, TWO for extra bases (Brad’s TWO run triple and Nick’s RBI double) both in the 5th which was the last time they would score. The first run came in the 1st when Kyle was HBP with TWO outs and then stole a base and scored on a Kendrys base hit

The Rays committed an error that the M’s weren’t able to capitalize on when Justin got a base hit and then made it to 3B on the error that followed but then was stranded when Dustin struck out.
