} Chance, on the other hand, left nothing to it – giving up TWO home runs (one a 2-run shot) in the 7th to allow the A’s to creep ever closer to the once large lead)
} Charlie, Lucas and Yoervis bent but didn’t break (combining to give up TWO hits and THREE walks but NO runs)
} Danny retired the A’s in order in the 9th for his SIXTEENTH save
