Can’t believe this was the only home game for the entire month!
Defense was divine . . .
A couple of interceptions ~ Richard Sherman and Earl “the hornet” Thomas (he’s just buzzing ’round everywhere these days!) not to mention holding the Titans to 66 yards on the ground, 129 through the air and not letting them past the Seattle 20 until the last FIVE minutes of the game. Seems like the “bad news” from last week turned to fantastic.
Offense was frustrating at times but, just enough . . .
Still dealing with a sluggish start (failing to score in the first THREE possessions) and that lack of 3rd down conversions and settling for field goals when touchdowns should have been the result as well as a ridiculous amount of fumbles. But, enough things bounced their way – Marshawn was BeastMode, Russell was running and spreading the ball around. It was good to have Max back (1/3 of that 3/5’s of Russell’s protection that’s been missing). And, just call BOTH Sidney and Marshawn “twinkle toes” ~ way to stay in bounds, boys!
Special teams was a little less than special . . .
Well, at least when Hauschka was in the locker room with a bloody nose. Never under estimate the importance of your kicker (OR, your holder!)
