ON THE MOUND
Pitching into the 8th and giving up FOURTEEN hits, not common but, that’s what Brandon did . . .
Oh, and those 14 hits? They were ALL singles. So, while he got hit often, he didn’t get hit hard and while he gave up some earned runs, he went long (stretching himself out AND giving the bullpen some extra rest). Sure a strange stat line though . . .
SEVEN.ONE innings ~ FOURTEEN hits ~ SIX runs ~ FOUR earned runs ~ ZERO walks ~ ZERO strikeouts

} Charlie and Tom combined to get those final FIVE outs and posted a scoreless ONE.TWO

AT THE PLATE
Well, old friend Jason was none to kind to his ex-team . . .
~He only gave up THREE singles in SEVEN innings and struck out SIX
~James provided a “too little, too late” spark with a pinch-hit RBI double in the 9th accounting for the M’s only run and the game’s only extra-base hit

IN THE FIELD
* argh! Brad with another error 😦
* but, THREE DPs (Brad-Robbie-Justin 2, Brad-Justin)
