He only made it FIVE+ and was hit pretty hard (a double and TWO homers)
FIVE innings ~ NINE hits ~ FIVE earned runs ~ ONE walk ~ FIVE strikeouts
A super STELLAR effort from the ‘pen (and I mean nearly the ENTIRE ‘pen, as Yourvis was the only one NOT to throw a pitch) as they combined for FOUR scoreless innings
AT the PLATE
~ No lack of hits . . . TWELVE!
~ No lack of power . . . TWO doubles (Endy and Robbie) and THREE homers (Mike, LoMo and Brad)
~ Kyle, Dustin and Willie the only ones w/o at least ONE hit (Kyle and Dustin each walked)
~ Mike the only player with ONE hit (and it counted 😉 )
~ Everyone else had TWO hits, except James who had THREE and a stolen base
~ the runs and RBI were spread nicely throughout the lineup

ONE double-play turned and a GREAT throw from Mike to nail a runner trying to steal 2B
