ON the MOUND
Kuma looked as if he wouldn’t be long for the game, loading the bases w/NO outs in the 1st but . . .
he escaped that and then settled in – looking like the The Bear of old (only TWO more reached base in his next SEVEN innings)
EIGHT innings ~ THREE hits ~ ZERO runs/earned runs ~ TWO walks ~ SIX strikeouts

} Mark just with his requisite scoreless innings and 1+ K’s (can’t get over what a rejuvenation he’s had!)

AT the PLATE
Runners on in EVERY inning but the 1st and 6th . . .
~ NINE total hits w/TWO doubles
~ believe it or not, the top of the order (AJ, Guti, Robbie) were O ‘fer
~ but, 4-5-6 (Nellie, Kyle, Mark) made up for them: going 7/8 w/FIVE runs scored, FOUR walks and TWO rbi
~ both pinch hitters got a hit (Seth and LoMo) and LoMo w/an RBI as well
