Our first look at Wade Miley ~ quick worker, feast or famine . . .
he gave up THREE hits that scored TWO in the 2nd before retiring ELEVEN straight and then allowing FOUR straight hits in the 6th, including a 3-run homer (to put the Rangers ahead 5-3) and then he struck out the side to end the inning and his outing.
SIX innings ~ SEVEN hits ~ FIVE earned runs ~ ZERO walks ~ SEVEN strikeouts
Bully holding that o.oo ERA through THREE games . . .
today it was Nick, Joaquin and Steve combining for THREE innings, ZERO hits and FOUR Ks
