The title “Compass Rosy” is a nod to the Mariners compass rose logo and reference to my typical optimism regarding their chances (whether it be in an inning, a game or a season) as I originally created this blog to document my following of my favorite sports team.
Life and times have changed since my days of being a season ticket holder (for both the M’s AND the Seahawks) – after raising our three children, my husband and I moved to our forever home in south Puget Sound on Anderson Island. Needless to say, being at the mercy of a ferry schedule makes attending games a rare treat. In fact, with the pandemic precipitating my plan to work from home full time, it is by choice that I rarely leave the island π
All this to say, this blog is transitioning from daily postings during the baseball season of “all Mariners, all the time” to a whenever, whatever seems positive and fun at the time but, keeping with that “rosy” theme π
I will likely post a lot of photos because, living where I live, even an amateur photographer like me (with only an old iPhone) can get some pretty good shots of the beauty that surrounds. β€
